Gintama Episode 63

Please when you watch Gintama, stay away from the TV and make sure the lights are on! This week’s episode focuses on Zenzo the ninja from the Oniwaban (お庭番衆). The Benizakura arc is indeed over, and this episode starts out with a 3 minute tribute to the arc with the full version of the ending theme Shura being played. Yeah the Benizakura arc was that good! Gintama for its obvious connections reminded me a lot of Rurouni Kenshin, one of my all time favorite Anime shows. Of course they are two totally different kind of shows. But its undeniable the references to the Bakumatsu period in Japanese history, the Shinsengumi, and so on made me interested in Gintama. But it turned out that Gintama is a big time comedy show!

Though finally the time has come, with this arc for Gintama to get serious! Really! Its awesome!
