Thoughts on Episode:
- Ok watching last episode’s preview, I thought we were going to get some more action! But alas this is Gintama, and they sure always know how to throw us for a loop. Instead of the big showdown fight, we get a mental showdown, which worked quite well I must say.
- Gintama always knows how to build up a joke, and at first I thought it was funny to see Kondo-san stuck there in the bathroom without any toilet paper… Then Gin-san gets stuck, then Binbokusai-sama, and lastly Toujou. It just works out, and the way it got resolved at the end was hilarious. The whole sand paper deal… and then Binbokusai-sama and Gin-san basically played mind games and forced Kondo and Toujou into that situation.
- See last episode I thought was quite hard to understand because of all the fighting technique talk… this episode was even harder to understand with all that mind games talk… in the bathroom no less.
- Next episode looks like we should finally get a resolution to this. I was surprised to see Otae-san get all worked up when she heard that Shinpachi had come. Can Shinpachi beat Kyuubei?!?!
Gintama is all manners of awesome but you’re aware that kyuubei is a woman right?

I just loved how they suddenly pull out a dating sim joke rofl!! I can see Okita talking to Kondo in that one screenshot…and the one with black hair is probably Toshi, then the red hair who got pwned at the beginning, and the dud who’s thinking of this himself…and by Paako’s shoulder is Kagura’s hair, I think ahahahaha!!
Sorachi-sama is just hilarious…
